Who are we?
Vuenara is provided by CS Group, company number pending registration, address Rooien 75, 9280 Wieze, Belgium. We are the controller of the personal data in your Vuenara account. Privacy questions: support@vuenara.com.
What data do we process?
- Account data: e-mail address, password (stored only in encrypted form), language and theme.
- Workspace data: members and their role, invitations.
- Family profiles you create: name, colour and optionally a link to an account.
- What you keep in Vuenara: tasks, chores, reward points, shopping lists, recipes, meal plan, notes and dashboards.
- Calendar events, only if you connect a calendar yourself (Google, Microsoft or an ICS link). Access keys are stored encrypted.
- Paired screens: a technical pairing code, the screen name and when it last checked in.
- Technical logs for security and troubleshooting, and an audit trail of important changes.
- Payment data, only for a paid subscription; processed by our payment provider, not by Vuenara itself.
Why do we process this data?
- To provide the service you ask for (performance of the contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
- To invoice your subscription and meet legal obligations (legal obligation).
- We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Children’s data
Family profiles may concern children. These profiles are created and managed by the adult administrators of the workspace. Children do not need an account. Keep data about children in Vuenara to a minimum.
Who do we share data with?
We work with these service providers (processors), each only for its task:
- Supabase – database and sign-in (servers in the European Union, Ireland).
- Render – application hosting (region Frankfurt, EU).
- Brevo – sending e-mails such as invitations and password recovery.
- Stripe – payments, only for a paid subscription.
- Google and Microsoft – only if you connect a calendar yourself.
- Open-Meteo – weather forecasts for a weather widget; only the chosen location is shared.
How long do we keep data?
As long as your account or workspace exists. After deletion we erase your data within [to be completed], except what the law requires us to keep longer (for example invoices). Backups are overwritten automatically after [to be completed].
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Under Settings → Privacy you can download an export of your data and submit a deletion request yourself. You can also contact us at the address above.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies
Vuenara only uses necessary cookies: to keep you signed in, remember your language and theme and recognise a paired screen. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), access is separated per workspace and role, sensitive keys are stored encrypted and backups are stored encrypted.
